Ethiopian Aliyah & Absorption
An ICEJ team travelled to Gondar, Ethiopia in May 2017 to visit Jewish families and hear the struggles of those waiting to immigrate to Israel. This is the personal story of the Males family and their journey from Ethiopia to Israel.
So far, 761 Ethiopian Jews have come home, but there are still thousands more waiting to immigrate. The ICEJ has committed to sponsor hundreds of Ethiopian Jews to make Aliyah and find a home in Israel.
